Then we added Cayugas for their grey to black eggs. The pekins were at the farm store and I just couldn't help myself, but to bring two ducklings home. The Swedish....well, I just liked the way they look. We have had mallards in the past too. It really helps to have a dog to patrol the woods to keep these ducks safe. In the past, before the dogs, we lost a lot to predators. We also had one over-sexed Muscovy drake once....we had to relocate him because he just would not let the gals alone!!! We called him Tyrone.

Have a great week,
Bev
Bee Haven AcresBee Haven Bevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10003927601786061426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550729855419474476.post-55347785926095712762011-04-11T17:24:32.276-07:002011-04-11T17:24:32.276-07:00Hi Just Jeff!!! We have several of these around our farm, they are organic, and they catch a slew of flies....truly a great thing. Your farm looks lovely...cannot wait to see more pics.

Bev
Bee Haven AcresBee Haven Bevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10003927601786061426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-550729855419474476.post-29697078932563782862011-04-11T15:11:28.478-07:002011-04-11T15:11:28.478-07:00So glad things are moving along for you.
